I’m Katie. I live with my husband and baby boy, Fox…and my parents. We’re doing the multigenerational living thing for a year while we save up for a downpayment and pay down some debt. It’s an adventure. I’m a lover of many things, including a good book, a tasty meal, and an infectious laugh. I’m an aspiring chef, a novice sewer, and a frustrated writer-at-heart. When I’m not working my day job, you’ll often find me in the kitchen cooking up a storm, or trying my hand at any number of creative pursuits. Put all that together, and that’s the inspiration for Milk and Honey.
My hope is that this blog will inspire anyone who happens upon it to find creativity and joy in their lives everyday. In Exodus, as the Israelites wander through the desert, God vows to lead them to a land flowing with milk and honey. In other words, he’s promising them an abundance of all good things. Not a promise for easy living, but a promise for Joy and Provision. That’s why this little corner of the internet is called Milk and Honey. Here, I’ll explore what it means to step into a life full of all good things. A life of Milk and Honey.
I’m glad you’ve found your way here!
